Built by an estate planning attorney

Your estate plan,
ready when it matters.

A signed trust is just paper. Blastoff turns your existing estate plan into a living tool — visual, organized, and ready for your family the moment they need it.

1. The moment a rocket leaves Earth.
2. The moment a person leaves it.
also: to pass · to depart · to shuffle off this mortal coil · to kick the bucket · to buy the farm
The problem

Most estate plans fail at the moment they're needed.

You spent time and money to do it right. You signed the trust. You executed the will. You felt the relief of having it done.

And then it sat in a binder on a shelf — until the worst day of your family's life, when they had to figure out everything alone.

1.

They don't know it exists

Your family knows you "did your estate plan" but has no idea what's in it, where it lives, or who to call.

2.

The details are everywhere

Account passwords, safe combinations, the name of your CPA — scattered across drawers, post-its, and your memory.

3.

The plan goes stale

You bought a house. Sold a business. Had another child. Moved states. Nothing in the plan reflects any of it.

4.

The hardest moments come without instructions

Funeral preferences, healthcare wishes, a letter to your kids — the things only you know stay locked inside you.

The answer

An estate plan that's actually used.

Blastoff lives in your pocket — visible, organized, and quietly waiting for the moment it's needed. Works with any estate plan, from any attorney. It does three things, each one impossible with paper.

01

Brings your plan to life

See exactly how your trust works at first death and second death. Tap any piece to learn what it does. Ask AI any question about your own plan in plain language.

02

Holds everything your family will need

Sealed letters. Specific gifts memorandum. Funeral preferences. Where the safe is. Who your CPA is. All in one place. All ready for the right moment.

03

Keeps your attorney connected

Your estate planning attorney remains your trusted guide through the lifecycle of your plan. Annual reviews, life event updates, and the activation itself flow through them.

How activation works

Sealed during life. Unlocked the moment it matters.

Your most sensitive information stays sealed until two events happen — a death certificate is uploaded AND your attorney authorizes activation. Then everything opens to your family.

📄

Death certificate uploaded

Your family member uploads the certified copy through the app.

⚖️

Attorney authorizes

Your estate planning attorney verifies and confirms activation.

🔓

Vault opens

Letters, codes, gifts, and final wishes become available.

What's inside

Everything your family will need, in one calm place.

Designed alongside an estate planning attorney with nearly two decades of experience. Built for the actual moments families face — not lawyer-speak.

Visual estate plan

Tap to see how your trust works at every phase — today, first death, second death. Interactive map of who gets what and when.

Ask anything — AI Q&A

"What does my QTIP do?" "What happens if I die first?" Get plain-language answers about your specific plan, anytime.

Sealed letters

Write personal letters to specific family members. Record audio messages. They stay sealed until activation — then your family hears from you, in your words.

Specific gifts memorandum

Photograph and assign meaningful items. Grandma's ring to Sarah. The painting to Tom. Timestamped and signed — legally controls under UPC 2-513.

Sealed access codes

Safe combinations. Lockbox PINs. Where the spare key lives. The cards your family needs but you'd never write in a will. Encrypted until needed.

Crypto pointer info

We never store seed phrases. Just where to find your hardware wallet, where the steel plate backup lives, and exactly what you want done with the holdings.

Annual check-ins

Once a year, walk through your assets. Confirm, update values, add new ones. Note major life events. Your plan stays current automatically.

Granular professional access

Give your CPA or financial advisor read-only access to your assets and documents — never to your personal letters or final wishes.

Final wishes

Funeral preferences. Healthcare context for your family. Digital estate guidance. The things only you know, written down for the people who'll need them.

Built by an attorney

From inside the practice, not outside it.

Blastoff wasn't built by software founders who thought estate planning needed disrupting. It was built by an estate planning attorney who'd seen the same failures over and over: families lost, plans outdated, sealed envelopes never opened.

"Every plan I signed for a family was a promise. Blastoff is how we keep it."

Every feature is shaped by what attorneys see go wrong. Every safeguard exists because someone, somewhere, has lost something they shouldn't have.

How it works

From signing the plan to your family using it.

Most estate planning ends at the signing ceremony. With Blastoff, that's just the beginning.

01

Start where you are

Whether you signed your trust last week or a decade ago, you can use Blastoff. Upload your documents, confirm the structure of your plan, and we'll map it visually. If you don't have a plan yet, we'll help you find an estate planning attorney to work with.

02

Make it yours

Over a few weeks, fill in the operational layer at your own pace — sealed letters, gift assignments, access codes, professional contacts. Each piece becomes part of the plan you already have.

03

Keep it current

Once a year, a 10-minute annual check-in. Confirm your assets, note life events, generate a personalized review. Your attorney is notified about anything urgent.

04

When you blast off, your family lands ready

A death certificate is uploaded. Your attorney verifies. The vault opens. Your family sees everything you prepared — exactly when they need it, organized exactly the way you wanted.

Pricing

One price. One renewal. Once a year.

Your renewal arrives with your annual check-in — the same week your plan gets reviewed, confirmed, and brought current.

Common questions

Things worth knowing.

Do I have to start over with a new estate plan?
No. Blastoff works with the estate plan you already have, from any attorney, signed at any time. Whether your trust is from last month or fifteen years ago, you can upload your documents, confirm the structure, and start using Blastoff right away. If you don't have an estate plan yet, we can help you find an attorney to work with.
How secure is my information?
Sealed vault content is encrypted with AES-256 — the same standard banks use. Sensitive information stays encrypted at rest and only decrypts after two-factor activation: a death certificate is uploaded AND your attorney authorizes the unlock. Even Blastoff's team cannot see your sealed content.
What happens if I lose my phone?
You can sign in from any device with your credentials. We also support recovery codes you save offline, and attorney-mediated reset as a last resort. Your account never depends on a single device.
What if Blastoff goes away?
Your data is yours. You can export everything in your account at any time. We also work with your attorney to ensure that if Blastoff ever discontinues operations, your sealed content can be securely transferred to your attorney's safekeeping.
Does my attorney see everything?
No. Your attorney sees your estate plan structure, your assets, and your documents — the things they prepared for you. They do not see your personal letters, your final wishes, your access codes, or your specific gifts. Those are private to you and reserved for your family.
Do I need a specific attorney to use Blastoff?
No. Blastoff works with any estate planning attorney. If your attorney is already a Blastoff partner, they'll enroll you when your plan is set up. If not, we can introduce them — or you can use Blastoff with an existing plan from any firm.
What about my crypto?
Blastoff never stores seed phrases or private keys. We document the pointer information your family will need: where the hardware wallet is, where the seed phrase backup is physically stored, recovery instructions, and your wishes for the holdings. The actual secrets stay offline.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime. Your data remains intact for 30 days after cancellation in case you change your mind. After that, you can request a permanent export and deletion.
